For over 20 years Sailfish Boats has provided the saltwater enthusiast with a variety of reliable, stylish and user friendly boats capable of withstanding the rigors of the inshore and offshore environment. Over that period of time Sailfish has grown to be one of the largest manufactures in its class. With a modern facility located in Cairo, Georgia, just a few miles north of the Florida state line, Sailfish is able to distribute to a nationwide dealer network, offering top quality service no matter where you are.


Quality is our number one goal when designing or constructing our product. Every Sailfish boat is built to rigid quality standards that are monitored throughout the manufacturing process. Critical systems such as fuel, electrical and plumbing are tested and retested before being certified ready for delivery by our Q/C department.

Construction

At Sailfish Boats, we take pride in building fine quality boats, able to withstand the rigors of everyday use in the marine environment.


Every Sailfish model is hand laminated by experienced boat builders using quality materials, with durability in mind. Compsys stringers, the backbone of the boat, provide tremendous strength and are custom made to fit each different model which will last the life of the boat. Our "SailTech" transoms are high density urethane composite foam, encapsulated in layers of fiberglass, for years of dependable service.


All Sailfish models have carbon-fiber reinforced decks, where needed, for extra strength without the additional weight. We use high tech knitted materials, in the hulls, for the strongest possible laminate, without unnecessary weight.



Sailfish Boats hardware is saltwater tested tough, with stainless steel rails and fasteners, through bolted in place, and top quality plumbing and electrical systems, to keep you on the water and out of the shop. Premium gel coats and resins are used throughout the lamination process, giving Sailfish one of the most durable finishes available. All trim items have been thoroughly tested for their ability to withstand the saltwater marine environment, and quality marine grade upholstery is used exclusively.


Our fuel systems utilize top quality certified marine tanks and fuel lines, and all have stainless steel fuel fills and vents for trouble-free performance. Polyester bonding agents are used to attach the hulls and decks on all models, effectively making hull and deck one unit, for maximum rigidity and strength. Water line fittings are sealed with urethane adhesives, for added protection, and all joints caulked with marine silicone sealers to reduce the risk of leaks.
