High Performance Hull Design

Action Craft Boats high performance hulls incorporate a modified deep-V design, a wide beam, strong lightweight construction, and our exclusive Pocket Drive®. With this design combination, we've succeeded in delivering you a softer, smoother, and drier ride in rough choppy waters and providing extremely shallow draft at the same time.


Quik-Dry® Design

Action Craft Boats patented hull design incorporates a transitional chine at the bow water line, allowing an increased angle for water to roll off the hull, rather than slap, reducing the hull noise that spooks fish. A built-in spray rail above the water line, and modified running strakes on the bottom of the hull, decrease the wetted surface of the boat, and directs water away in a sheet, rather than a spray, of water. This produces a dryer and more comfortable ride when running through choppy waters.


Pocket Drive®

Fish don't follow channel markers, so we don't think a fisherman should have to either. That is why we pioneered Pocket Drive, our exclusive stern design that allows our boats to run in only eight inches of water.


Action Craft Boats exclusive Pocket Drive® decreases the running draft by directing water up to the propeller. With our taller transom, we reduce the amount of motor that hangs below the bottom of the boat, thereby increasing performance.
