Hi I’m Jon Thelen, Today is an awful calm day out here on the water. There’s a lot of days when I have to be on the water when I’m in two, three, four-foot waves. There’s nothing worse than running across a lake trying to get to my fishing spot and watching my expensive Pal Mount Electric Trolling Motor bouncing around and about.
At Angler’s Pal, a division of MarineTech, we came up with the answer. That’s the Angler’s Pal Trolling Motor Stabilizer Mount. Now, there’s other mounts on the market. Most of them you have to actually install a piece on your trolling motor shaft itself which restricts the length that you can get it down. With the Angler’s Pal unit, you don’t have to do that.
Let me show you how it works. When I pull up on my spot, it’s as simple as coming up here, grabbing a hold of this tab, pulling it open, and deploying my motor. That’s it. I’m in the water. I’m ready to fish. This unit sitting right here, there was no loosening, no changing of its position. It was as simple as pulling that rubber tab.
Now, when it’s time to go, it’s as simple as grabbing that trolling motor, bringing it up. Same system right into place, drop the shaft down in there pull the rubber tab in. Now if I take off – and I’m in those three or four footers that we all dread – this trolling motor stays put. I don’t bang loose all of the connections in that circuit board that are up here in the head.
I know I’m going to get years of use out of trolling motor itself. It’s all because of this mount, the Angler’s Pal Trolling Motor Stabilizer Mount from MarineTech. Check it out at marinetechproducts.com.
