This is the second time I have ordered an Attwood Gas Spring. Easy to install and perfect replacement part. I have an older boat that periodically needs replacement parts so iboats is my GO TO dealer.

I need the mounting bracket for both ends to hold up the rear deck on my pontoon boat. Do you have those as well?
It will actually depend on the mounting style you need. They offer flat, 90 degrees, etc. You can call us for more guidance or if you know what you need send in another question and we can provide part number.

What gas spring should I use for the Sea Ray 190 bowrider, engine cover. I want to use something a little stronger than the original.?
We don't have original information to know what size and PSI you need unfortunately. You will need to know that information or get it from Sea Ray.

Are length measurements taken from mid mounting holes or overall length?
The measurement is from the mounting holes.

How do I determine the strength of shock needed to hold up motor cover when there is 2 shocks. lets say the cover is 50#?
Attwood says that the equation to calculate that is extremely complicated. They suggest going to a local marina to get help on which shocks you need.
