Azure AZ 228 - Bowrider Boat
New 2009 Azure - Bowrider
2007 Azure AZ 228 Description
The new Azure AZ228 has reset the bar for 22 foot bowriders. An intriguing combination of style and features blend together to create the most spacious 22 foot bowrider in the industry. Boasting innovative features normally found in much larger boats, the AZ228 dwarfs the competition with big boat features such as a self bailing cockpit liner, a bow boarding ladder with beach access step, and a full fiberglass head compartment. Azures patented 21 degree SureTrac hull breeds confidence in turns, and ensures you that the AZ228 will slice through waves like a boat twice its size. And its size may surprise you once you step aboard. Azures convertible sunbed is placed over the engine, instead of in front of it, which adds more than two feet of additional cockpit length compared to any other 22 foot bowrider in the industry. Extremely deep bow seating is almost twice as deep as the competition, and details such as the flush mounted walk through door, and port side cockpit sink ensure that this boat does not come up short. The AZ228's intriguing style, efficient floorplan and big boat features make it the best value in its class.

We have the 2007 Azure 228 and are happy with her. She has enough power to do what we want and she's pure fun. We did have to change out the radio with one that has iPod ability but that was all. The stock speakers handled the new radio with ease. Our only issue with the 228 is that the tow rope ring is very low given it is mounted on the swim platform. If it were up higher or you can afford the wake board tower I would say go that route. We are talking about taking the 228 to Catalina.. Not sure if she can handle those waters but we are doing research... the Azure 228 is a great boat.
