    I had an older base on the boat I have but could never find the right bracket to fit it. When I saw this one I thought for sure that it was a perfect match. It tuned out that it was NOT BUT I took the old one off and had to drill 2 new holes (I used one of the existing holes). This entire base and bracket are MORE than I would have dreamed of. With the number of holes in the base, it is impossible to not find the exact position anyone could ever want. I am 1,000% happy with this system.
