Bearing Protectors provide permanent protection against damage from water and dirt entering the wheel bearings. They prevent corrosion resulting from water entering the hub when the trailer wheels are submerged. The Bearing-Life unit is used in place of the wheel hub dust cap. Grease is added through a fitting in the piston of the unit. The spring-loaded piston then holds pressure inside the hub. The grease, under pressure, prevents water, condensation or dirt from entering the hub. The Bearing-Life Bra prevents any excess grease from being thrown on to trailer wheels while trailering.
