New 2014 Bertram Yacht
Bertram Yachts opened in 1960 by Richard Bertram. In 1961 Bertram Yachts becomes a part of the Nautic Corporation and the following year opened a 25 acre plant in Florida(FL). Richard Bertram performed well with his Moppie yachts in racing and won many while setting speed records. By 1971, Bertram had built 1000 yachts. Soon they had to expanded their factory again.
In 2011, Bertram celebrated 50 years in business. Currently Bertram builds 4 yacht models from 57 ft to 80 ft. long. With exquisite workmanship inside and out, Bertram yachts are graceful and sleek. These sportfishing yachts provide great angling and comfortable accommodations and are available with the flybridge option.
Bertram Yachts uses a special feature addition to joining the deck to the hull on each of their yachts beyond screws on caulking. They use an aluminum wrap to enclose the joint to bond together for the strongest hold possible. All of the doors, corners, seams and cabinets are fiberglassed to these superstructures for added strength keeping things firmly in place. The anti-rolling gyro system does away with 50 percent of the rolling of the yacht at rest and 30 percent while trolling. This increases the safety of moving around on the yacht and up onto the bridge in more rigorous weather conditions.
