Capt. Eric here with is Sea Tow Central Connecticut. If you find yourself taking on the water the first thing we’re going to do is to pass you an electric pump. They are very simple to operate. Simply put the pump down in the lowest part of the bilge that you can get it. Be sure that your discharge hose is overboard and then all you have to do is hook positive to positive on the jumper pack. Negative to negative; this one has gone on–off switch, be sure it’s on. About Bilge Pumps
One of the most important attributes of a safe and reliable boat is the bilge pump system, designed to keep your boat floating. We understand this and have responded by packing our our bilge pumps category with a huge variety of quality options from top brands such as Rule, Johnson Pump, Attwood, and SeaSense. Additionally, we've taken a lot of the work out of finding the perfect bilge pump features for your boat with our "Refine Search" feature, allowing you to filter through our products for specific Gallon Per Hour rating ranges, volts, outlet sizes, and styles such as cartridge VS non-cartridge or Automatic VS Manual. With as many options as we have, we're sure to have the right bilge pump for your boat, and at the right price.
