2009 Boston Whaler Boats 180 Ventura Description

Venturas are the quintessential sport utility vehicles of the water. They’re designed for the crowd that likes to do a little of everything. Fishing fanatics will appreciate the folding stern seat that converts to an aft casting platform, the standard livewell, and optional Fishing Packages with the convenience of extra rod holders. There’s spacious storage for skis or wakeboards – just choose the optional ski pylon, and you’re ready to go. Or simply enjoy a casual cruise on the water. Turn on the optional 4-speaker Clarion® AM / FM digital stereo with CD player, grab a soda and just relax. Relaxing’s easy when you know you’ve got the security of unsinkable Unibond™ construction.

Just took delivery of this boat and it doesn't disappoint. Great fun boat for two people (think of this like a roadster on the water). The finish and attention to detail is good. Everything on board is well made and there's nothing on board that's some useless bell and whistle. We looked long and hard for a non-fishing boat we could use in coastal waters in the Bahamas, and Boston Whaler was really the only choice for the following reasons: The hull is high enough to provide a dry ride in coastal conditions, local dealer support, and (since I'm outside the US), the option to power with a four stroke 150 hp Yamaha engine. We're very happy with the results and would recommend this combo to anyone else who doesn't primarily do fishing. Its a lot of fun with just enough luxury not to get in the way of practicality.
