I got great results - very smooth super high gloss finish - with the roller tipping technique. Easy to apply. It took three coats to completely hide dark primer and age cracks. I wet sanded with 220 between coats. The product is quite smelly for more than 24 hours while drying indoors. Allow for adequate ventilation. Worth the effort and cost. Next time I would spot prime the repaired areas and apply a first coat over just the primed areas to use less paint. I found an inexpensive nine inch "cabinet" roller at Lowes that got the paint on smooth and fast.
