The look of stainless but with the price of plastic. Strong plating process strengthens parts. Five step metal bonding process. Won't flake, chip or easily scratch. (Chrome plated plastic parts, not solid metal.) The Brite Plate™ plating process actually strenghtens plastic parts and will resist sunlight, salt water, oil, gasoline and most common marine chemicals. Thermal cycling and CSA wet cycle testing confirm the strength of the plating layer. All parts are subject to regular testing of salt spray and strength requirements.
