Product is misrepresented by Dorsett. It is not 12" wide, 11 3/4" is it's dimension. So if you are going to cut it into two 6" pieces to cover the top and both sides of a 2x4 bunk board is will be short. Also it's quite light in weight, don't know the carpet equivalent weight in ounces, but was unhappy with it.
