New 2014 C and C Yachts
C & C Yachts began in the mid 1960's bursting onto the international scene of racing yachts. The design team of Cuthbertson and Cassian took their vision of the sleek lines of racing yachts and began to build new boats with expert engineering, precision fit, beauty and speed. C & C Yachts did well in the racing scene and orders flooded in for race boats. By the 1970's, C & C Yachts became one of the top performance boat builders of sailing yachts in the world. Not only was Cuthbertson a master designer, but he searched out talented people to create a dream team with a goal of building quality racing boats. The demand for excellence married with artistry set the bar that the manufacturing process was set to emulate.
Today, C & C Yachts has a new focus again. They have brought a team together of skilled designers, builders, engineers and sailors to write the new chapter of racing yachts. They have brought on board some of the people that originally worked for C & C when they built the foundation that fueled those earlier years of "integrity in all things". The style and requirements for boat design change over time, but the sea never changes. This makes producing the highest quality possible in design, construction and skill the forefront of C & C in their new push to recreate the past, but use the best building practices today.
There are two models in the current lineup at C & C Yachts. There is the C & C 30 One Design, which is a racing yacht built to cover both the buoy race, as well as the offshore races of shorter distances. Built with two settee berths and a self-contained head, this sailing yacht is equipped to get you to the area of your race course with an inboard engine. With pure racing in mind, this yacht is set up for speed. The Redline 41 model is set up for racing as well as cruising and does both beautifully. The owner of the Redline 41 is able to configure his model to highlight the racing or the cruising sides more, depending on the desired boating experience. With a larger area below deck for a galley, double V-berth, head with shower, and settee berths in the main cable, this provides a more comfortable and enjoyable ride.
