The
Seating Comfort Boaters Have Been Demanding
Many
developers have tried to reduce the shock that hull pounding transfers
to a seated boater. With its unique resources, Attwood is the first to
bring such an effective system to the recreational market at an
affordable price.
SAS™
means “Shock Absorption System”, and it is
available exclusively in Avenir™, Avenir™ Sport,
and Centric™ SAS™ seats from Attwood.
The
SAS Quad-Spring™ suspension system is completely integrated
within the seat pan — not bolted on, as are some systems.
Four marine-grade coil springs stretch a stainless steel grid that
supports and shapes the molded foam cushion in the seat pan. This
suspension provides Dynamic Comfort while underway and Static Comfort
when relaxing.

for circulation and comfort.

Provides

Comfort
Even
while idle and sitting still, the SAS suspension adds long-term
comfort. Molded foam for SAS seats is thicker at the sides to give
larger boaters extra support and “center” smaller
boaters in middle of
the seat.

Centric™
SAS™ builds on the
appearance, dimensions, and ergonomic
features of the Centric seat. It stands just 2" taller than the
correspondng Centric seat, so it's easy to use both Centric SAS and
Centric seats on the same boat by adjusting the pedestal to match seat
heights.

Side Bolsters
Provide lateral support to help keep rider seated, even in rough seas
and tight maneuvers.
Concealed Hinge
Patented pinch-proof hinge molded into the shell.

If you need a quality cover and are willing to have a slightly odd fit or extra flap or two of fabric, one of these odd-lot covers may be ideal for you. These covers are in a variety of boat styles, lengths, colors and fabrics and can make a good, useable storage cover for a boat of similar or smaller size. (Sorry, no returns)
