The new Pulsare 1850 BR is now in production. It will be added to the Checkmate boat showroom in the near future. This model is basically a new version of the Pulse 185 BR; new lines, new hull design, more room, new graphic's, etc. It also adds to the Pulsare O/B line (Pulsare 1600 BR, Pulsare 2100 BR and the Pulsare 2100).... with a Pulsare 1860 (long deck version) to follow in the future. The Pulsare 1850 BR has about the same equipment/spec's as the Pulse 185 BR. It is available with graphics as seen (special edition) or the Pulsare 1600 BR flame graphics. Manufacturing of Checkmate Boats

Complete boat “hand laid" construction sanded between layers for better adhesion. Shrink proof marine putty used in strakes to prevent hooks/rockers from developing. Full custom stringer systems and (with the exception a couple small models) complete boat BalsaCore construction (hull & deck). Even small parts i.e.: buckets seats, engine hatches, inner liners, bulkheads, etc all hand laid fiberglass (NO Chopper Gun in Plant! ).


Checkmate Boats have a h.and taped custom gelcoat graphic's that last forever and are very repairable , with plenty of gel(20 to 22 mils ) for the inevitable scratches and dings that come along with a season of boating.
