"BW Marine Products" is comprised of four companies which share common ownership, but are each run independently. Each company manufactures, markets and administers its own products in the Marine and Recreational Industries. With combined experience of over 75 years in business, BW Marine Products takes pride in every product that is produced.
Plastitech Products is a manufacturing company which is located in the city of North Bay, Ontario, Canada. Plastitech Products is the manufacturer of the Contour Pedal Boat Line, the Aqua-Mate Pedal Boat Line, the Kayaki Kayak and also the newest product line for the company, the Kiwi Kayak.
Plastitech Products was established in 1987 as a manufacturer of the Contour Pedal Boat line. At that time the boats were sold in North America, through a network of Manufacturers Representatives, Distributors and Marine Dealers. The company expanded it's product base when it purchased the Aqua-Mate Pedal Boat rights, securing it's place as a leader in recreational pedal boat manufacturing. Recently, Plastitech purchased the Kiwi Kayak company from California and moved the manufacturing to it's North Bay facility. Products are marketed in North America, and around the world with boats being shipped to Europe, the Middle East, Japan and also shipping to Australia.
HLT Limited
HLT is the manufacturer of the Yacht Club line of recreational trailers and Eagle Custom Trailers. The company is located in the town of Humboldt, Iowa. Yacht Club has been manufacturing trailers for the marine and recreational industries for over 30 years and prides itself in every product that leaves the plant. Boat, snowmobile, watercraft, pontoon and utility trailers make up the majority of trailers in the Yacht Club line.
Yacht Club trailers are marketed in the United States and Canada through a network of regional distributors and a rep network. HLT's sister company Bay Distributors handles the product in Ontario and the Canadian Maritimes.
Kiwi Kayak
The more you learn about Kiwi Clear Kayaks, the more it seems like one of those really good ideas that is obvious in retrospect. However, it took us quiet a few years to accomplish the fit, finish and functionality our customers have come to expect. With three utility patents issued, Kiwi has a full suite of innovative products redefining kayaking.
Our Caribe and Atlantis kayaks, fall within their own genre: half canoe and half sit-on-top kayak with modular transparent hulls. The Caribe and Atlantis are best suited for clear, calm, coastal waters. Our brand new patented Calypso tandem and soon after Margarita solo kayaks will change the sit-on-top industry once and for all. Combining traditional sit-on-top durability, price appeal, and many industry firsts, they are poised to set the trend in future sit-on-top kayak designs. These new models offer a "Clearly Different®" approach to self bailing cockpits, one which truly works to keep the interior dry and one which does not rely on thru floor scuppers. They also have modular running surfaces, modular interior storage spaces, and the ability to insert underwater viewing panels.
