This is not suitable for Johnson control cables. You can order a 3300 cable (such as part number CCX633 and whatever length you need) and get connections to adapt it to this remote. You will need part numbers 304939 and CA27320P to adapt it.
In addittion to this control, is there an adapter kit for my 1995 115hp johnson?
That remote box accepts these cables: http://www.iboats.com/SeaStar-Tf-Xtreme-Hi-Performance-Universal-Control-Cables/dm/view_id.40287 Connection kit for those cables is this: http://www.iboats.com/Cable-Conn-Kit-3300-SeaStar-Solutions/dm/view_id.169272
I have a 85hp force outboard (model 856X5L). I need the neutral warm up function as well. Will this control box fit my boat, I have Top Glenddinning Pro-X cables (A710015FT27712 and A710015FT12613 ) throttle and shift respectively. Thanks?
This is a universal part and can go on any boat. You'll need to get the correct control cable for Force engines, but the universal end of the Force cable will fit to this control lever box.
Would this be the best control unit for a 1968 mercury 500?
It will depend on your motor's capabilities. This is a dual function, single lever meaning the single lever controls both throttle and shift. You will need to get the Universal cable such as CCX633 cable. You will need to know cable length required. You will also need a connection kit, part number CA27319P.
Is this what I need for my 1988 Evinrude, 3 cyl. 60 hp?
You can use this with your outboard. You will need different cables though as this does not accept OEM style cables. You will need CA27320P connection kit to go with the cable, CCX633XX (depending on cable length needed).
