Crusader Distributor Caps

Just what I needed and very quick delivery.

This is the cap and rotor for an GM Chevy 5.7L V8 OMC King Cobra motor, made in 1989. Probably fits some other engines as well. Originally, this distributor had points and a condenser, which I changed to a Pertronix electronic ignition. Strong, thick plastic housing on the cap with good high quality brass contact points on the inside. Would like to see it come with a rubber o-ring, as the paper gasket is susceptible to tearing and can be hard to line up with the distributor base due to the rubber grommet and 2 wires from the Pertronix exiting the distributor, and trying to line up the holes with the cap to the base. IMPORTANT : MAKE SURE THE ROTOR SITS DOWN INSIDE THE PERTRONIX MODULE AND IS FLUSH TO THE TOP OF THE MODULE. The after market rotors do not fit correctly down inside the module and the sides of the rotor have to be scraped with an exacto knife to remove a little bit of plastic to slide down into the module. Otherwise it will ride high inside the cap and cause misfiring which you will think is a fuel problem like I did.
