What you will need:

  • Fiberglass Boat Cleaner - wash surfaces in need of repair thoroughly
  • Rubbing Compound - restore oxidized surface
  • Masking Tape - mark off repair areas
  • Gelcoat Paste - fill gouged out cracks
  • Coloring Agent - mix with paste until matched with existing gelcoat color
  • Hardener (included with paste) - stir into mixture before application
  • Repair Kit - for smaller projects use in place of paste, color agents & hardener
  • Spreader - work colored paste into scratches & smooth
  • Plastic Bag - cover repair to seal out air while curing
  • 220 Grit Sandpaper - after cured lightly sand until smooth
  • Marine Polish - polish repaired area
