Dry Box

I bought this to use as a toolbox for the boat. Overall, it's well made and hefty and the suspended tray in the top for small items is a nice touch. However, I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I dispute the claim on the label that it "Floats when properly sealed". The foam seal on the underside of the lid is poorly applied at the corners, enough so that it would let water in. You could probably re-apply your own weather seal, but when you buy something new, you shouldn't have to. It will suit my purposes of keeping tools, registration etc. "dry enough" though, as long as I never capsize or drop it overboard. Nice touch that it's lockable with a padlock. It could easily be cut open with a saw, but the setup is enough to prevent casual tampering with the contents.
