But if you want to stay number one...you can't rest on your laurels. That's why Eliminator has developed the new 27 Daytona...with bold new automotive inspired styling, new graphics, new interior, new custom CNC billet deck hardware, and of course, the most efficient tunnel hull configuration currently on the market. The new 27 is a perfect size for the lake or the ocean, maybe even a little Outlaw Performance Class racing, and this is a first glimpse at what the rest of the line will eventually look like. Yes, the entire Daytona line will eventually take on the shape of this new 27. This 27 Daytona came equipped with a MerCruiser 496 engine. The throttle includes in-handle trim adjustment. A panel of switches right next to the throttle is handy. The driver is afforded a pleasurable dash layout that keeps everything easy to monitor. Nothing blocks the driver's vision. The fairings are somewhat angular compared to the old style and are taller than the predecessors, keeping the blast of wind out of the drivers and front-seat passengers faces while not losing the effect of a bunch of wind blowing over the boat. The interior features a full fiberglass interliner with snap-in carpet. There's a large bed under the deck with interior lighting and a built-in ice chest. The individual bucket seats are extra supportive and extremely well padded, so rough water isn't going to be uncomfortable. The back seat is constructed in a scooped design to give the feel of separate seats, but it's really a bench. One styling option some may choose to select is the see-through hatch section. A large square area of the hatch can be clear see-through material to really show off your hardware. The Bimini top stows cleanly along the top edge of the gunwale, and underneath in the cabin is a modest amount of room for storage or a nap.
