Quality and technological innovation are the solid principles on which the Ferretti Yacht production is founded, with particular emphasis on elevated performance through design, ergonomics, form and function. Within the Group, a specialized team of approximately 90 professionals accompanies the birth of a Ferretti yacht from planning to construction, with the aid of Ferretti Yacht Engineering, a division dedicated to the research of new technology that is in charge of planning and integration of highly innovative solutions.
Fruit of this continuous search and testing is the ARG (Anti Rolling Gyro) system, technology exclusively developed with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, that is fundamental in eliminating rolling and guarantees maximum comfort during cruising. Others important technological achievements are represented by the EasiDock “Smart Command”, that allows maximum maneuverability of the boat, and in the integrated management system - NAVIOP that, in a single screen, allows one to have full control of the yacht functions.
The Ferretti Yacht fleet also boasts to have first adopted the new generation of Common-rail motors that mark, even on the nautical sector, a revolution in terms of efficiency; realizing improvements similar to that occurred in the automotive world when introduced. From navigation to comfort, the technology of the Playtime Radiomarine ensures on board, as in the lounge at home, the best simultaneous management of various multimedia platforms such as radio, tv, Internet and video.

To enjoy a Ferretti yacht means instinctively living the sea in maximum comfort and with the best possible performance: conditions that imply total confidence. The concept of integrating safety is part of every innovation, always present even in the less obvious, nevertheless fundamental details. The study of the submerged profiles, for example, allows the optimization of power, making it extremely secure, avoiding turbulence to dull vibrations, noise and cavitation of the propellers.
In order to estimate the movement of fluid particles under the bow, the Ferretti Yacht yards turn to a system of superior calculation. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) was in fact employed first on Ferretti Boats; even before its introduction on America’s Cup competition sailboats. Another significant detail is impact simulation. This allows to estimate structural stress on the yacht in case of collision with a wave at maximum speed in order to incorporate within the structure adequate fiberglass and reinforcement. These and many others tests are the results of continuous research and experimentation of the AYT (Advanced Yacht Technology) Engineering division of the Ferretti Yacht Group, and of the Ferretti Lab.
This centre is concerned with the study of new materials through precise testing and is active on two essential fronts of development: research and quality control. The European (CE 2003/44) and International (NMMA) guarantee certificates prove and confirm the commitment that the entire Ferretti Yacht Group is bound to maintain and to improve across all elements of safety with an unwavering attention to even the smallest of details, in order to apply the largest possible qualitative standard.
