Fiberglass Boat Cover Bows

They look nice and wide in the picture but they are not. The rubber gasket does not provide a snug fit. The bows could easily be a half inch wider for better function. The rail mount sockets do not "snap" on to the rail tubing. They just rest there. Just the wind blowing against the cover knocks the bows over (and I did trim them down). I cant imagine what a little rain might do. When they fall over, they spring out and puncture the cover. I spent $100 bucks on these and they ruined my new $300 cover when the wind blew them over.

years ago and they were great. Wide and sturdy. These are skinny, flimsy, and weak! If you leave them to tall, the wind pushing on the top knocks them over. If you cut them shorter, any weight on the top (including wind) inverts them in the wrong direction. I bought 3 and no feel that I waisted $75 because I cant use them.
