Nice to have a dedicated wrench for the prop. This rust proof wrench will always be handy.

Works great with new prop. Makes for easy installation. It also has a slot for the drain plug on the bottom of my boat.

Very strong considering its lightweight fit the nut like a glove. Put a string through the handle, keep a boat hook handy, and you can put it down on the water!

by Bart from Columbia, Tennessee on July 26, 2015
The wrench was a nice wrench. I purchased this to use on the land and in the water for emergency but when I tightened my prop on the land the wrench wanted to strip a little so I put it in the boat for emergency. But has a great feel. Also my nut on my prop is shallow so that effected that too.

by Mark from SAN Diego, California on July 20, 2015
A floating prop wrench seemed like a good idea, but it is actually a floating P.O.S. I was not able to turn the nut because the plastic quickly and easily stripped. The nut was not on very tight as I was able to use a standard socket with just a little bit of pressure. Do not plan to use this unless your nut is only on finger tight.

by Eric from Eustis, Florida on July 19, 2015
My wrench is at the bottom of Lake Eustis, FL. It might float in salt water, but it went straight to the bottom in fresh water! I wish I could get a refund, but that's hard to do now...

Junk. Don't waste your time purchasing. Not worth shipping charges to return. Experienced mechanic, I should have known better.

Full StarEmpty StarEmpty StarEmpty StarEmpty StarPlastic Wrench Stripped on First Try
by Wesley from Montgomory, New York on July 07, 2015
The wrench size was correct but plastic cannot take the stress of rotation and stripped on the first try. I had to go to Sears and buy a 1 1/4" steel socket to get the propeller nut off. Interestingly, it was not hard to rotate at all which confirms my criticism that plastic wrenches are a waste of $7.50. Unfortunately, the steel prop wrench was over $30.00 and did not seem worth it for the rare occasion of replacing a prop. I would recommend just buying a steel socket to do this task. It costs around $9.00. Ironically, it is not that much more than this worthless plastic wrench. Wes

Even though the wrench didn't float, it's lightweight and worked perfectly! I'd give it a 5* if it wasn't called a "Floating Prop Wrench!"

At first I was very skeptical, I thought it would've very flimsy. The wrench is well built and is very durable.irs great to not have to worry about slipping off and losing the wrench.

by Alan from Cincinnati, Ohio on June 14, 2015
Do not buy this wrench because the size is not correct. It is advertised as a 1-1/16" wrench. The wrench sent to me measures as a 1-1/8" Therefore it does not work. The wrench will slip before it will loosen or tighten the prop nut

by James from Atco, New Jersey on May 18, 2015
I have 150 optimax motor the torque for the prop is suppose to be 80 ft lbs. there is no way I could take off or tighten with this wrench. I tried removing the nut and the wrench just slipped. At least the wrench being plastic it didn't strip the nut. I was not satisfied at all.

fit the nut and allowed me to turn it as advertized. I managed not to drop it into the water so I never was able to tests it floating capabilities, but I am confident it would have if I had.

A:
Unfortunately since we are aftermarket we cannot match up this by specific motor. It works for a 1-1/16 prop nut.
