by Ken from Big Pine Key, Florida on January 23, 2015
I ordered 4 switches to replace upper and lower helms. They sent 4 switches with 3 different keys. The plastic bodies are flimsy and the threads were not capable of holding the switch in place when the key was turned. The threads stripped out on two switches for this reason. So far they work satisfactorily but I always bring them back to the run position because these were sticking in the crank position a few times before installed on the boat. I bought these for $16.00 each versus the brass body switches at West Marine for $44 each. I will probably regret using these switches in the long run but electrically speaking they are working fine so far.

To install screw by the back to tighten. The front one has a limit to how far on the tread it can go.

Well this is a three terminal switch and you need a 6 terminal. You need to know the type as well. Here are the 6 terminals we offer: http://www.iboats.com/Boat-Ignition-Starter-Switches-6-Terminal/dm/attr_id.723--view_id.216622
