Poly-Span inner, provides a soft feel on skin and allows for quick drainage of water build-up. Hidden belts in the back for a clean look (Child and Youth only). Our Infant neoprene vest features 1.5mm neoprene inner and outer, 1" adjustable belts and buckles. Pop-up pillow provides added head support with a convenient grab strap for quick recovery. PVC foam construction. Infant vest is U.S. Coast Guard Approved Type II, safe for babies up to 30 pounds. Child & Youth vest are U.S. Coast Guard Approved Type III.

Appears to be a well made product with important considerations such as a dished out spot in the foam in the pillow for comfort. Ultimately our little guy did not prefer this jacket and he ended up happier in a Stearns jacket that was more narrow cut across the chest to allow a wider range of mobility. The Stearns also had less material in the back than this full back vest so I think he stayed a little cooler.
