Product Description
A two-part, easy to use, fast drying epoxy compound for filling holes and repairing scratches in gelcoat and fiberglass. Interprotect Watertite YAV135 is especially recommended for use to fill gelcoat blisters below the waterline. It is recommended for use with the Interprotect Epoxy Barrier System or VC Tar2.

Watertite is a unique fast-cure two-part epoxy fairing compound that is excellent for blister and osmosis repairs, as well as keel/hull fairing and hole repairs. It"™s an easy-to-sand, easy to work epoxy putty. Has the consistency of butter at application, cures in 1-2 hours and remains easy to sand for several hours. Can be applied up to 3/4" thick without sagging. Easy to mix 1:1 ratio. Above or Below the Waterline.

Interprotect Watertite YAV135 is an excellent fairing compound due to its unique two-phase cure, which gives a long easy-to-sand window. Interprotect Watertite YAV135 can be applied to a thickness of 3/4 without sagging and its superior spreadability makes it an ideal glazing compound for filling small nicks and scratches.

Note: Epiglass Epoxy Resin can also be used as a fairing compound when mixed with HT440 Filler powder.

Prevention is Better Than Cure
The importance of having a moisture-free hull cannot be overemphasized. The drier the laminate, the lighter the hull, the better the performance, the more efficient fuel use and the longer the gelcoat life. A boat hull that has absorbed moisture will also sit lower in the water than intended and will reduce the responsiveness of the boat.

The InterProtect® System was designed to repair hulls which have experienced gelcoat blistering. However, the best time to attack hull blistering is before it happens.

Taking preventative action before a problem occurs will greatly reduce the likelihood of an expensive repair and increase resale value. If you're buying a new boat, protect your investment with the InterProtect® System before it ever goes in the water!

InterProtect® is a unique two-part epoxy designed to reduce the potential of water absorption by fiberglass hulls. InterProtect® is unique among epoxies because it has Micro-Plates®, a protective barrier within its film to slow down water permeation. Technically, InterProtect® Micro-Plates® provide millions of overlapping microscopic plates that create a barrier similar to shingles on a roof. These overlapping Micro-Plates® eliminate any direct path for water migration and also improve the sag resistance of the epoxy making application easier.

    Blister Repair
by Aaron from Eubank, Kentucky on April 27, 2017
The product is very easy to use, apply, and sands off easily. Dry time was very close to recommended (within a few hours). Overall I am very satisfied with the product. The boat will be in the water this weekend so we will see how it holds up.

    Great stuff !
by Nicholas from Shreveport, Louisiana on April 17, 2016
Easy to use and goes on like butter. Used it on some gel coat crazing on the deck of my Kenner bay boat, after grinding the cracks with a dremel. My advice is to build it up a little "high"...and then sand it. Be sure and prime it with Interlux epoxy prime kote before the top coat is applied. Never had a problem with Interlux products.

I used Watertite to fill some small dings in my hull. Product is easy to use, easy to sand. If the need arises again I will definitely use it again.
