For full automatic bilge pumping operation, connect the automatic switch to your bilge pump. The AS888 automatic switch has a time-proven micro switch without mercury. When water exceeds the acceptable level, the pump is turned on by a rolling steel ball, which changes the pressure on the micro switch. The AS888 attaches to any Johnson Pump bilge pump through the clip on "T-slot" and can be used with 6, 12, 24, or 32V systems.

Simple in design and function and worked wonderfully with my bilge pump (brand unknown). Wish it was slightly smaller, so it was easier to mount, but I found a place it would work. Good price and does the job.

This switch has a simple rolling ball mechanism that works reliably. The instructions about placement and connection are easy to understand. It does not have to be used only with a Johnson pump. I hooked to a Rule pump with no problem. Don't waste your money on higher priced models that won't function any better. This switch does the job.
