How do I remove my fuel pump from my Johnson 70 VRO?
We are not technicians, and due to the extensive range of engine models, we could not tell you exactly how to remove your fuel pump. We recommend posting a question on our Forum page at http://forums.iboats.com/
My fuel pump on my 89 Johnson VRO 70 horsepower is not working. Is this kit going to fix the problem with my fuel pump? Or am I being sold something I don't need? Im trying to avoid paying almost $500 for a new VRO fuel pump, but I also don't want to have to pay $30 for more parts I don't need if I do have to buy a new pump. Thanks for your time?
You might be able to get gaskets for your VRO pump if that's what you need. You will need to contact Johnson on that though as we only sell repair kits for regular fuel pumps.
Do you have anything that will fit a 1973 Evinrude 25 horse, pull start?
It does not show on our charts that it will work, but it still might. To confirm, we would need to know the model number of your engine. You can call the number at the top of your screen with that number and we will check for you.
Are any instructions or schematics available for these kits?
Yes, there are schematics included with these kits. You can find additional exploded views and diagrams in these Seloc Service/Repair manuals:
