This is a nice little light that throws off enough light to see inside the boat, but I was hoping that it was a little larger in size. It would have been nice if it had it's own switch or push button so that you don't have to wire in a toggle switch.

The light comes with no instructions for how to open the cover that must be removed for installation. It was not obvious to me which side was supposed to come off first, so I was concerned about breaking it. The key is the small square opening. It doesn't look the size of a screw driver tip, but it can be used to pry open the cover.

They are an exact replacement for the original halogen lamps that came with my 2000 Skeeter ZX202. These are much brighter and the lighting is clean.
