Popular on pontoons, motor yachts, houseboats, and cabin cruisers but compatible with nearly any boat that is 18 feet or larger and has a flat and solid surface for installation, the Lillipad is the worlds ONLY diving board that was specifically engineered to be mounted on a boat.

Unlike most other boat diving boards you may find, the Lillipad is NOT a plank. There is a urethane spring in the framework that gives the Lillipad its spring action. Unlike a pool diving board, however, the diving platform itself doesn’t flex. This innovative design cancels the energy of the jumper by counteracting the force within the framework of the diving board, which allows an exciting spring action without rocking the boat.

With a maximum weight of 250 pounds, and an adjustable spring (done easily with a pin) this exciting boat diving board is great for kids and adults to use. Have peace of mind about the safety of your family and friends on the Lillipad because of the traction materials for the board and an adjustable stabilizer rail for safe jumping. Also, built with stainless steel hardware, a heavy wall aluminum extrusion, and urethane spring components, corrosion and failure are minimal.

When not in use, simply drop the board along the side of the boat by using the quick release pin. And when it comes time to stow the Lillipad, simply unscrew the 3 eye bolts that secure it to the boat. The entire Lillipad then separates into 2 main sections – the ladder and the base. These can easily be stowed.

Surface plates are also used for installation on fiberglass boats with integrated swimp platforms, houseboat decks, cruiser decks, and yachts.

Floor Specifications that must be met for approved installation:

  • Minimum 3/4" thickness of Marine Grade Plywood
  • Minimum 3/4" Solid Fiberglass Flooring

**The surface mount kit consists of three stainless steel plates designed with a matching footprint of the frame and latter, nine 6mm x 40mm stainless steel screws and three 10mm x 40mm stainless steel eye bolts. This kit is designed for use on boats that have obstructions such as bracing that will not allow for proper placement of underfloor plates and all fiberglass installations.

Video Transcript

Here we wanted to give you a real close up view of what the floor is going to be like when you’ve got your diving board off. We’ve got these little plug screws so you can thread those in real easy. You can use a key or a dime or anything to tighten it up and make it flush so you’ve got a real clean surface on the floor.

I want to take another minute and show you a sample of what the bottom side of your boat is going to look like. These are the mounting plates that are going to go underneath the boat, totally out of view. When you mount these under the boat, just a couple of screws hold them in place. Its stainless hardware and stainless rivet nuts as well so they are going to last for a long while. You’ll position these under your boat with your frame pieces from you boat on either side. If you do need to position it where you’ve got a frame member that would have to go in between, you can rotate this plate also so it’s still a real clean installation.

INSTALLATION

The first step of installation is to place the frame over the mounting hole. You will then take a stainless steel eyebolt and secure the frame to the base of the boat. Once your base is secure you are ready to install the ladder. Simply slide the ladder into the two holes in the frame. Next you’ll secure the ladder by inserting the pins into the two holes on the sides of the frame. You will next secure the ladder to the base of the boat. Align your ladder to the mounting holes and secure it to the floor of the boat with the eyebolts. With all of your eyebolts fastened hand tight, you can use a pin to ensure they are snug.

You are now ready to raise your diving platform. Release your shock from the storage strap. Insert the button lock pin into your desired mounting hole. Raise the diving platform by pressing on the back side. Align the mounting hole on the diving platform with the mounting hole on the shock rod. Push the button lock pin through the mounting holes to secure your diving platform.

Raise the stabilizing rail to your desired location and secure it by pushing the pin through the mounting hole - it is now completely assembled and ready for use.

While your boat is in motion or the Lillipad is not in use, the diving platform should be lowered.

Disassembly and Storage.

Now I want to show you how easy it is to take this down. All you have to do is drop the board, and this will lay down on the side of your boat, usually at the side gate or if you’ve got a platform on the rear of the boat, it will lay down and just rest against the shock. You can stow the shock here with the strap system, put the pin in so it doesn’t move around. Now you can just lower the hand rail. You can take this completely off for stowing it. Pull these two pins, take out your eyebolts, and the ladder slides right off.

Now you’ve got one more eyebolt and you can take the frame right off completely, or you can run with this over the side of the boat. Now when you go to stow this, it will actually package up quite small – and that’s all the space that you need to put your board in.

IN ACTION:

Watch the boaters, nobody moves! Exciting Spring Action!
