Q:
How many amps of power do i need to supply this charger remotely...can i use a 1000 watt (850 continuos) portable generator.?
A:
If you are looking to use a generator to power your battery charger then generators with a modified square wave output can damage the chargers. Units with a sine wave output can be used to power the charger, so you will want to make sure you know what your charger uses.
