The Difference
Like every Malibu Boat that came before, this year’s new line of Malibu boats began as a challenge to explore the limits without containing our thinking. We wanted to build a boat that would satisfy our engineers’ obsession for technological leadership and enthusiasm for the sport. After a record-setting six straight Boat of the Year awards, our thirst for advancing innovation cannot be quenched. While our competitors might see our approach as risky, the only risk we see in not giving our best to every Malibu boat owner.

Swivel-Head Pylon
Malibu ski boats' patented swivel-head pylon incorporates needle bearings in the head for a smooth pivoting motion, eliminating rope ratcheting for extended rope life and increased safety.

Electronic Throttle Control
Malibu Boats employs Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) technology in every 2007 Malibu boat. Electronic Throttle Control eliminates cables and the associated binding, for extremely smooth throttle response.

FibECS
Malibu Boats’ patented Fiberglass Engine Chassis System (FibECS) allows for the engine to be through-bolted and the load to be dispersed over a greater area, for a more durable foundation, less vibration and quieter operation.

Flooring System
Malibu Boats’ composite Mantex flooring system, with a natural sound dampening quality, provides an indestructible foundation.

Malibu Boats is offering the Industry’s first production-ready catalytic converter system ETX/CAT (Extreme Tuned Exhaust with Catalyst), patent pending, on the 5.7 Liter, Multi-port Fuel Injected, Monsoon 340

Breath Easy!
The Catalyst is a huge achievement in boater safety. The new ETX/CAT exhaust system substantially reduces carbon monoxide (CO) gases in all part-throttle operating modes.

Whether you want to soar like an eagle over wakes produced by 1200 pounds of displacement, or test out a new trick with only 400 pounds of displacement, the Power Wedge puts that control squarely in your hands. Malibu Boats automatic hydrofoil can be set to almost any position between stowed and fully engaged to change the size and shape of the wakes to your specifics.

Stainless Steel Construction
The Power Wedge was rebuilt in 07 and continues strong in 09 using stainless steel welded construction and a new stainless hood with a laser-cut Malibu Sun in either side

Wedge Technology vs. Other
The Malibu Power Wedge utilizes advanced foil technology to displace the hull while also adjusting the attitude of the boat for huge, yet adjustable wakes.
