Easy to use! Very strong.
by Mark from Manteno, Illinois on June 19, 2011
Never used one and have never installed one. Very easy to install. Very heavy duty. Up to 300hp. Test ran it several times to get the right height with my prop. Gained about 6mph on top end and excellent hole shot.

Deosn't work for me
by Stephen from Babylon, New York on May 29, 2011
Hi, My new jack plate is a thing of beauty but my mechanic informs me that I don't have enough clearance to tilt the engine with my hynautic hydraulic steering. He says that every time I needed to tilt the engine I would have to crank the jack plate up to its maximum, then re set it for running. My boat is a 22' Velocity with a 200hp Johnson. Any ideas? I know if anybody is at fault it is me. Is this returnable? The heavy duty shipping box is gone. Should I mount it on my wall as a reminder to look before I leap? Thank you. Steve
