Hi! I am John. I am here today at the ASA Electronic Showroom to introduce you to the JENSEN Marine MS2013BT Stereo with Bluetooth. So why choose JENSEN Marine? Because this stereo is loaded with entertainment features, and has been designed to be a true marine stereo.
Let me explain. First, let us talk about the entertainment features. We all know that Bluetooth lets you wirelessly stream your personal music via your Bluetooth Enabled Device. However, when you sink to the stereo, you can control your songs collection using the stereo interface.
Now, you can safely store your device away on your boat, so it does not get wet. Let me show you just how easy it is to sync up your Bluetooth Enabled Device. With the stereo in Bluetooth Audio Mode, press and hold the Audio Menu Button until the menu Option comes up.
Now, scroll through to the Bluetooth Pairing Option, and then pair to the device. Then, on your Bluetooth Enabled Device, find the MS2013 Bluetooth Option and hit pair. It is just that simple.
If you want to use your iPod, this stereo also has a USB template for full iPod interface. It can also be used with other USB-based port devices, so you can take your entire music library with you and charge your device at the same time. To utilize this feature, you need to use our Genox Interface with USB and auxiliary inputs.
Have you ever been sitting with boat motor off, plain stereo and wondered after a few hours if your boat would start? Well, the Low Battery Alert Feature on this stereo will not leave you stranded. The Low Battery Tone is audible over the audio output and will alert you when your battery is running low.
There is nothing worse than arriving at your boat and finding the battery is dead. We can safely say the cause would not be the stereo. The Zero Current Memory Draw feature ensures the stereo presets will not run down the battery when your boat is unused for long periods of time.
Now, let us take a look at the stereo’s marine great features. We perform stringent validation test to ensure every unit is ready for the harsh marine environment, and is ready to provide years of high quality dependable entertainment.
The stereo has an IPX5 Waterproof Rating, which means it has been tested against a low pressure water stream from a variety of different angles. So go ahead, get it wet! This stereo is protected from shortages, moisture leakage, condensation, and corroding.
This stereo has been subjected to an accelerated UV exposure that equates to over five years of actual outdoor exposure, ensuring the stereo would not yellow overtime. The Highly Corrosive Fog Mist Test ensures protection against corrosion and salt. The Conformal Coded Circuit Board consist of a protective coating that has been hand applied to the both sides of the circuit board to significantly extend the life of the components and circuitry.
To further add to the extensive testing the stereo endures, it is subjected to constant, random vibration to simulate rugged marine conditions along with simultaneous extreme temperature fluctuations to detect potential material weaknesses. The stereo also goes to extensive electrostatic discharge testing on the exposed control areas, as well as IO connections, demonstrating, it can withstand the most severe static build-up.
So now that you know what really makes it true marine stereo, do not settle for anything less than JENSEN Marine Electronics. JENSEN: Expect More, Get More. read less
