This item will not replace the OEM# 89-96054 as stated in the description. The Sierra label on the box does not state it is a replacement for the 89-96054. It is however a replacement for the 89-96054T. These two parts are not interchangeable. I'm sure the Sierra part itself is good as is all Sierra parts I have ordered in the past. Just double check your part number.
