Tilt and Trim Reservoir
by George from Pittsfield, Maine on July 02, 2013
The reservoir was an exact replacement, however, the furnished mounting screw was too long and it "bottomed-out" before properly tightening the reservoir against the pump assembly. Replacing the new screw with the original screw resolved the problem. Because of the design manner in which the screw is restricted from over-tightening by a small steel collar, this potential for "bottoming-out" could cause a "false positive" installation. I would advise using the old mounting screw in every case - or at least visually measuring the length of the new screw against the old to insure that the new screw is not too long.
