Instructions Don't Match Video
by Gary from Marinette, Wisconsin on October 28, 2013
Once set up the Navigloo Shelter fully met my expectations. My reason for downrating to a 4 is the instructions which come with the shelter consist only of pictures - no verbiage, have an add-on page showing a part substitution but leave supplies needed to support the old part in the instructions (got the sand and didn't need it) and the order of assembly doesn't match the video. Make sure you watch the video before assembling. The order of installation and the combination of various steps shown in the video would make assembly much easier that the included instructions. Initial set up took almost two hours. My estimate is that the next set up will take less than an hour.

I have a Navigloo for my pontoon, it is fantastic! I love it! For one thing, I hate shrinkwrap it’s expensive, wasteful and really bad for the environment, so this solution really speaks to the frugal "greenie" in me. Another thing I love about my Navigloo is that I can take care of my boat myself without help from anyone, except for the tarp I had to ask my daughter to help me with is a BIG tarp! (But, we just considered it that day’s workout). As a woman, when it comes to my boat, I get treated like a dimwit by "manly men" who think I need to be instructed on the ins and outs of boat ownership, which I most certainly do not! This way I don’t have some guy at a local boat dealership/service center looking at me as though I’m next month’s rent and trying to convince me that I really need a whole slew of things to take care of my boat that I really don’t need. With Navigloo, I can be a nautically independent woman! I am so excited to install it again this season!!!

Navigloo Boat Shelter
by Howard from Canton, Ohio on November 11, 2012
I just finished tarping my 20 ft. pontoon yesterday. I was a little late getting to it as Hurricane Sandy set us all back. Over all a great product. I had some difficulty fitting the "AB" top main horizontal arms into the "C" holes on each end. It was very tight/snug and I was afraid I might break something. It would slide in sideways but hard to rotate upright so I could put the "F" piece on correctly. (Hope this makes sense.) Also I wish the instructional DVD would have give some ideas how to best hoist the tarp up onto the framing structure. I was doing this alone. Almost an impossible task to attempt "solo" since the tarp was so massive and heavy. I did get it done though but had to use a few choice cuss words along the way. Also how best to fasten the ends flaps of the tarp down securely would have helped. Your instruction booklet was a great step-by-step help. Sure was nice to get a Canadian product vs. another product made in China! Thanks for you well designed and unique product.
