The Panther battery gauge allows you to determine the exact amount of charge remaining in your batteries. Designed for permanent mounting, the battery gauge requires a 4" rectangular opening and will work with any standard or deep cycle 12 volt lead acid batteries. The battery gauge's high-precision, rugged design will provide accurate battery charge readings in even the toughest conditions. The gauge is internally lit for day or night use. Dual battery gauge allows you to monitor two batteries with the simple touch of a switch.

This battery gauge works well for my needs. The only short fall is that on a brand new battery with a completlely full charge the read out needle does not go above 60%. It does however work and you can follow the use of your battery. After several uses and recharging, the top end of the readout is still only 60%. Knowing this now, I do not plan to change it out...it works. The gauge is also easy to install and I really like the back light. Overall it is a good product.
