Perfect tool for changin on the water...
by Brent from Noonan, North Dakota on September 02, 2014
Small lightweight tool that allows quick change of props on the go. I still would torque the nut with a proper tool, however this will get you going in a pinch.

    Better than expected
by Stephen from Lawrenceville, Georgia on March 24, 2014
You would think that this wrench being made out of nylon would mean that it flexes and would be no good for anything. The complete opposite is true. It is a very strong and s y tool. The one I received is bright yellow making it easy to identify in my boat toolbox. Great value if you are only going to be changing your prop once or 100 times.

    GREAT IDEA, BAD WRENCH
by James from OLD Hickory, Tennessee on December 18, 2013
LOVE THE IDEA OF A NON METALLIC LIGHT WEIGHT WRENCH IN THE BOAT BUT THIS ONE DID NOT EVEN LAST THE FIRST PROP REMOVAL. IT STRIPPED OUT BEFORE THE FIRST NUT WAS REMOVED.

    Does what its supposed to
by Jeff from LoganVille, Georgia on August 13, 2013
The wrench did what it was supposed to do. Mainly tighten the nut on my prop. Mine did break when i was cranking down on it to get the tabs lined up. Of course after i broke it i read the part about torquing to the manufacturers sugested torque. When i need a new prop ill buy another.

    Sweet Tool!
by Daniel from Phoenix, Arizona on June 28, 2013
What a fantastic idea for a boaters tool. Prop bilge drain plug combo wrench, in a lightweight nylon design. Wish I would have patented this idea!! Good tool, good price, no rust, no weight! How can you possibly go wrong with having one of these??...answer is you cant. Be a pro, don't be a cheapskate get one for each of your boats.

    Good Prop Wrench
by Jerrad from Valentine, Nebraska on May 07, 2013
Purchased this for an on-boat prop wrench for emergencies. Haven't used it yet (fortunately) and haven't tested to see if it floats but it fits the prop nut and I believe that it will work fine in removing/installing prop nuts on the water/at the lake. Due to the poly construction, I also believe that it might suit better for an emergency item rather than a boat service technician who might use it constantly.

by David from Rison, Arkansas on April 16, 2013
I tourqed my prop to specs and tried to loosen it with this wrench and it broke instantly. Might work good on light weight stuff but my prop tightens to 55 and this wrench won't handle anything near that. Wasted my money....

FAIR PRODUCT, GOOD PRICE, FAST DELIVERY
by Brian from Callander, Ontario on August 14, 2012
A prop wrench is a prop wrench, no big deal. However, what I am very happy with is that iboats.com created a complete propeller package for my specific needs. The right hub, the right spacers, crown nut, cotter pin, wrench was optional, but it being shown reminded me that I needed one. So what I'm saying is that I am praising the value-added service provided by iboats.com

    Won't remove prop nut
by Michael from Bedford, New Hampshire on August 07, 2012
The wrench stripped when I attempted to remove my existing prop nut, rendering the tool useless. I had to go to the hardware store to purchase a proper steel socket. When I ordered the tool, I thought the interior surface of the wrench would have a stainless steel insert. I don't recommend the product.

    Slips on Prop nut
by John from Apple Valley, Minnesota on July 14, 2012
This wrench slips when trying to tighten the prop nut. My prop requires 70-80 ft lbs of torque and as you apply force the plastic deforms on the wrench. It then loses its ability to grip the nut. I would not buy this product.

Nice and light, good to keep on the boat.
by Jason from Strongsville, Ohio on June 02, 2012
Works great for the price. Is only nylon though so I could see improper use leading to stripping of the socket end. Would buy again especially for keeping on the boat for those unfortunate prop mishaps.

    Not ideal for prop changes
by Steven from New Port Richey, Florida on May 23, 2012
I honestly didn't know what to expect from a plastic wrench, but I wasn't really able to do a decent prop change job using it - the downside of plastic for use as a wrench should have been apparent. I ended up having to use a normal metal adjustable, and a socket would have been even better but I didn't have a large enough one with me on vacation when I had to do an emergency prop repair.
