2007 Ranger Boats AR 2180 Bay Ranger Description

From saltwater flats and bays to the equally rewarding day trips offshore, the 2180 Bay Ranger is built to take full advantage of some of the most exciting sportfishing on the water. Measuring 21' 8" in length, the versatile nature of this rig makes it an ideal platform for chasing everything from snook and tarpon to redfish, sea trout, and kings. Rated for a maximum of 225 horses, the 2180 features the smooth handling of Sea Star Pro® fluid steering. At the stern, an integrated engine set-back works with a specially-engineered tunnel between the hull pad and outboard for easier operation in the shallows and stronger top end performance. Inside the hull, layers of `Zone-Tempered' fiberglass combine with Ranger's exclusive pultruded fiberglass transom, fiberglass gussets, and fiberglass stringer system to deliver a level of craftsmanship that remains unequalled. The 2180 Bay Ranger. Combined with the added peace of mind in our legendary foam flotation, we're setting standards that outperform everything on the water.

I recently purchased an '05 2180 Ranger with a 225 Mercury. The ride has convinced me that this a quality boat. The motor performs equally well in the flats as well as in a chop. I purchased the boat from an individual who could not tell me the fuel capacity of the boat. I read that '07 2180's carry 60 gallons, but don't know whether the '05 would be the same. I would like hear other owners comments on this model Ranger.
