SeaStar NFB 4.2 Dual Cable Rotary (No Feedback) Steering System Package
Does your boat experience engine flutter or steering instability? Go for the Teleflex NFB 4.2 Dual Cable Rotary (No Feedback) Steering System Package. It features No-Feedback helm that prevents torque feedback to the steering from engine, lowering steering fatigue. It can be used with steering wheels up to 16" and boats up to 24'.

The compact rotary helm easily installs in 3.25" cut out hole and uses same bezels as the quick connect steering system. The helm is made of precision die cast zinc and utilizes the QCII helical cable assembly for fast and easy installation. Its standard tapered shaft prevents unnecessary rotation of the steering, while the 4.2 turns lock-to-lock decreases helm pressure.

Replacement of existing Cable:
For Rotary steering cable replacement, measure existing cable as follows: Measure plastic cable jacket in inches, add 18", and round up to the next foot. Order that length cable.
For rack steering cable replacement, measure existing cable as follows: Measure plastic cable jacket in inches, add 30", and round up to the next foot. Order that length cable.
For New Installation: Measure cable routing path from wheel center to engine connection, as follows:
A = Center line of wheel to gunwale (or deck, if routed downward),
B = Dash to Transom,
C = Gunwale to centerline of cable connection at centered tiller.
For Cable Installations through Engine Tilt Tube:
Add A, B and C +6", then round up to the next foot. Order that length
For Cables Mounted to Transon, Splashwell or Stringer:
Add A, B and C, then subtract 6" and round up to the nest foot. Order
that length cable.
Cable routings (such as those found on pontoon boats) may vary
from this drawing. Confirm length by laying a garden hose along
cable path and measure run from wheel to engine connection point.
