I purchased in August 2012 a Sea Ray 2012. A sharp looking boat, yet the boat has spent more time at the shop then in the water. Sea Ray has a remarkable history of well manufactured boats, which helped in my decision. The steering malfunctioned on my 2nd trip out. The power steering line was being pinched when turning. The engine alarm went off the 3rd time I took her out. Once I powered her to full power, the alarm sounded. After 2 weeks in the shop, it was determined the prop size was incorrect. I have a tower on this boat and was advised by Marine Max to leave the bimini top out when towing. Not a good decision as it came off.
