Three strand twist anchor line features excellent elongation properties, and are designed to handle the shock loads caused by boat motion. These anchor lines are made with special high quality nylon fibers. Each anchor line is factory eye-spliced with a high quality, non-corrosive nylon thimble in one end.

Anchor line? Really
by Steve from Commerce, Michigan on June 10, 2010
I don't see how you can call it anchor line without the eyelet to lock on to the anchor. The picture fools you, the eyelet is closed, I do not know really what it is for, and you have to hand tie the line to the anchor. A big deal? Maybe not but I feel much better with the normal style. Might as well buy regular line instead of this product, and I bought two at once dummy me,

Seasense Anchor Line
by Michael from Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania on May 21, 2015
I purchased this anchor line in March of 2015 and it is exactly what I needed to hold my Key Largo at bay. Attached by a 5'-0" long vinyl coated chain to a navy anchor via "D" shackles, this rope will do the job. Happy boating/fishing friends! Michael

Anchor rope
by Juli from Crystal River, Florida on September 14, 2015
I have not had a chance to use the rope much yet. The only thing that I have noticed that I am not sure about is that the ring is made of plastic. Not sure how long that will last.

Q:
Can I get this item in 100 ft length?
A:
We do not have a 5/16" anchor line in 100 feet unfortunately at this time.

Q:
Is 3/8" 50' ok for a 24' pontoon on small lake?
A:
Seasense only recommends 3/8" for pontoons up to 20 feet. You might have to get heavy load of 5/8" anchor line. Fore more information call us at the number at the top of the page.

Q:
I have a 18 foot runabout Aluminum boat is 3/8 rope strong enough as an achor rope?
A:
Yes 3/8" diameter rope will work for your vessel.
