I have not exposed the product to the water yet. I have just recently installed them. I was not impressed with how difficult it was to clean them to look like they did in the package after installation. I am concerned about how they will look and clean up after a few runs down the river. Check me in a month or two.

Skeggard installs easy. fits well and looks good. Remains to be seen about the 2 little screws that hold it in place. Seem a little flimsy in my opinion, I realize is designed to sheer when hitting something solid. Also would be better with an allen head on the screws to get them secure easier.

The SkegGard is well made and excellent finish. I put one on my new E-TEC 150 as soon as the motor was put on the boat. It went on quick with excellent fit. I put one on a 1998 Johnson 150 15 years ago after a rock strike took a chuck out of the skeg on that motor. I wanted to head that off with this new motor.
