Telescoping All-Round Boat Light 24" with Angled Zambak Base -Attwood

I needed to replace a similar type unit on an old boat. This is a much better design as it has the friction lock knob instead of a collar like my previous model. The light is a shiny chrome type finish and requires 3 screws to mount it (it does not come with the screws.) The globe is easy to remove to change the bulb. It does not have a "catch" at the bottom of the light pole so one can pull the whole light out fairly easily and break the wires if you are you don't know your own strength. This could be fixed by drilling a hole and adding a bolt to the bottom. This unit drops into the base, so if you don't have a similar type light you will need to drill a 1 inch hole and make sure you have about 20 inches of clearance below it to allow the light to drop down.
