Now you can perfectly center your boat on the trailer even in low light conditions, thanks to the Tie Down Engineering Heavy-duty Guide Ons designed with LED lights. During daylight, their bright orange caps act as visual guides as well.
  • Allow easy trailering of your boat
  • Bright orange caps for enhanced visibility during the day
  • Equipped with LED lights for better visibility in the dark

These guides feature non-marring PVC pipe that won’t scratch your boat hull during launching or loading. A 15-inch metal tube inside the PVC pipe increases strength and impact resistance. The mounting hardware is galvanized, and the U-bolts and nuts are zinc plated for corrosion resistance.

Decent Product, Poor Support
by Ryan from Bountiful, Utah on November 11, 2014
Upon opening the box (the badly dented, clearly opened and re-stapled box), the product seems pretty decent. S y hardware and metal tubing. However, there was no way to mount this to my trailer without drilling holes through structural cross members. It would have been nice if Iboats had enough info on the product to make it possible to determine this ahead of time. Returning was a hassle, and quite expensive (Iboats was not a help there, even though they could have allowed me to pay their negotiated reduced rates by issuing a return label). Decent product, but unless you know ahead of time that this product will fit your trailer, I'd suggest going to another vendor that will assist with returns, not make it a difficult routine.

Will these guides keep the boat physical centered on the trailer?
No. They are used as a guide only.
