i bought a new tracker 2014 pro 160. since new it porpoises above 22 mph and 4500 rpm. this is with the trim all the way down. it does it with one or two aboard. any faster and it just get uncontrollable. the dealer lowered the motor(40 hp Mercury) all the way down on the transom and it did not help. the boat is at the dealers and they are welding on the transom. why won"t tracker replace this unsafe boat instead of welding on it. i don't want a new boat with the transom welded on it. other than the boat being unusable, it is nice.
