2013 Tracker Boats Pro Team 175 TXW Description

The #1 selling aluminum fishing boat for lots of reasons.

The TRACKER Pro Team 175 TXW is a great balance of size and performance.

Its 17' 7" all-welded (5.36 m) Revolution Mod V hull and Power-Trac transom deliver both a dramatic holeshot—and our Smooth Ride Guarantee.

It comes loaded with components from the most respected names in the business: a Minn Kota Edge trolling motor, Lowrance X-4 Pro fishfinder, fuel-efficient Mercury FourStroke and a factory-matched trailer. There's even an onboard battery charger. New features for 2013: courtesy lights, easier center rod access and true fold-flat fishing chairs.

No wonder it's America's favorite, year after year.

Purchased my 175txw at the winter boat show prior to the 2013 fishing opener in Wisconsin. I've now had a chance to fish the season with it and can offer some real life comments. This boat fishes very well, it's light weight (easy to tow and maneuver around the garage by hand). I ordered with the 75hp Optimax and can reach a true 40+ mph on my Lowrance gps unit (dash speedometer reads 44 mph). Rod locker is almost perfect (could use larger diameter rod tubes to allow for large eyes on your spinning rods). Cons: no trim/tilt gauge, no recess trolling pedal tray (I installed my own "comfortroll" unit and it works perfect, trailer components are prone to corrosion in the Wisconsin environment. Overall it's a very nice unit for the price and is easy to install optional equipment so you can make it the way you want it!
